Particks good run continued when they avoided the Scottish Cup First Round draw and earned a home tie in the Second Round.
Thistle will face Deveronvale at Firhill on January 6 - one of only two clearcut ties, the other being Spartans' clash with Stirling Albion.
Meanwhile, the Scottish Cup trophy will not be kept for a year by the club winning the final in future. Instead a replica of the cup - along with replicas for the Scottish Qualifying Cups - are to be made.
The SFA Council meeting in Glasgow decided that in future each of the cups will be kept it in the SFA's museum as long as they will be available when required.

In future each cup will be presented to the winner of the respective finals and then immediately returned to the museum. And the replica of the cup will be given to the winner to keep at their club for a year before being returned to the association.
