Second Division round-up

Leaders Queen's Park crashed to a 2-0 defeat at Clydebank, who moved alongside them on 16 points at the top of the table. James McKinstrey and Steve Murray were the scorers.

  • Stranraer joined them in a three-way tie at the summit thanks to a 2-1 away win over Stenhousemuir which leaves them ahead on goal difference.

Ian Harty and Paul Walker scored, while David Lorimer netted Stenny's 79th-minute consolation effort.

  • Queen of the South remain bottom after losing 2-1 at home to Partick Thistle, for whom Paul McGrillen scored an 87th-minute winner.

  • Berwick beat Forfar 5-3 in an actionpacked encounter at Station Park but there was little to shout about at Forth-bank as Stirling and Arbroath drew 0-0.
