E Stirling 3 Morton 2
East Sterling manager George Fairley praised his players after the Third Division side's three-goal second-half fightback killed off Morton.
'It was a fantastic second 45 minutes for the lads and every one was a hero,' said Fairley.
Yet Shire had looked up against it when their First Division opponents took an early lead. After 13 minutes, French striker Kareem Boukkra, who had come in for the injured Stephen Whalen, outpaced the defence before driving the ball low inside the far post and away from keeper Jim Butter.
But, three minutes into the second half, the home side got the equaliser they deserved when Kevin Gordon shot through a forest of legs in a crowded goalmouth and past the unsighted Matt Boswell.
Things got even better for Shire in 62 minutes when midfielder Craig Lynes, unmarked inside the penalty area, took his time to slot home.
Even better was to follow when, in 80 minutes, Dougie Todd added a third with the ferocious 30-yard free-kick. A minute later Ross Matheson scored Morton's second to set up a frantic finish.
Veteran Britton has a double

Veteran Gerry Britton came off the bench to score twice after half-time and spark a spectacular revival by Jim Leishman's men.
County's George Shaw, Marc Millar and Steve Ferguson all came close in the first ten minutes and near the end of the first half County had a penalty appeal denied after John Anderson appeared to handle.
In 50 minutes, a Derek Fleming corner found David Bingham, who scored with a near-post header.
Three minutes later, Brian McPhee crossed for Britton to head past Nicky Walker and in 80 minutes, Britton collected a Bingham pass to slam in No3.
