Div 2 and 3: Clydebank clear out dead wood

Division Two Preview

Clydebank have carried out sweeping changes at the top, naming former Celtic striker Tommy Coyne as first team player-coach - and the man in charge today against Stenhousemuir - and former St Mirren boss Tony Fitzpatrick as a consultant.

However, Steve Morrison, who has been in charge since former boss Ian McCall left last season, will remain as a coach.

The move comes just 24 hours after businessman David McGhie was revealed as the head of a consortium seeking to buy the club, but an official stressed: 'These latest decisions should not be linked to that.

'It was simply felt by those at the club that this was the best way forward for Clydebank. There has been no fall-out or disagreement.'

Division Three Preview

Bechin have signed teenage defender Liam O'Sullivan on loan from Hibs and he plays at Dumbarton today.

Elgin manager Alex Caldwell hopes to play a midfield trialist against visitors Hamilton, who have Bill Davidson, Jim Sherry and David McFarlane doubtful.

East Stirling include new defender Ross Carlow from Stenhousemuir in their squad at Montrose, who will be without Tommy Harrison.

Cowdenbeath, at home to Albion Rovers, wait for defender Keith McCulloch, while Rovers could be without Tommy Tait.

East Fife make a late selection against visitors Peterhead, who are at full strength.
