Dundee manager Jim Duffy has two doubts ahead of the visit of Partick.
Defenders Barry Smith (back) and Tom Hutchinson are both rated doubtful for the game.
But Lee Mair and Mark Robertson have both been added to the squad as replacements.
Meanwhile, Duffy admits to having mixed emotions when he heard the news that influential midfielder Giorgi Nemsadze was to miss a month of action through injury.
The Georgia international sustained a knee injury during Saturday's match with Livingston and it was initially feared that he had ruptured ligaments.
However, a scan revealed that the damage was not as bad as first thought and the player is now expected to return to action in around a month's time.
Duffy realises that it is a crushing blow to lose a player of Nemsadze`s international experience and ability for any length of time but admits his disappointment is tempered by a sense of relief that the player will be back sooner than first expected.
He said: "I am very pleased that he is only going to be out for a month. We first feared that he would miss three months or longer so the results of the scan actually seemed like good news.
"Giorgi is a top-quality player and it is obviously a blow to lose him. He has had a bad injury before and had to miss nine months of last season so I feel a great sense of relief for him."
Partick Thistle manager John Lambie is prepared to wait until the last moment for the second week running to give Alex Burns a chance of playing.
The waiting game paid off on Saturday when Burns, who had been laid low with a stomach bug, hit a second half hat-trick in a 3-0 win over Kilmarnock.
Midfielder Scott Paterson is also a doubt with a groin problem but he too has not yet been ruled out.
