Berwick Rangers manager Paul Smith is hoping that his high scoring side can over-power the tight defence of Cowdenbeath, who visit Shielfield this weekend.
Cowden have only been conceding a goal a game while Smith's side have been scoring twice every match on average.
Berwick go into the game without Neil Inglis, Grant McNichol, Eddie Forest and Ian Ferguson, all of whom are carrying injuries.
Smith said: "I've seen Cowdenbeath and the are not leaking many goals, but our strikers have been scoring so hopefully we can put them under pressure from the off."
Cowdenbeath manager Keith Wright refuses to complain after his side suffered a couple of injuries in the CIS Cup defeat to Dunfermline.
Wright even concedes that it was about time that he injuries to contend with.
The injured pair are defender Willie Miller and midfielder Lee Dair, while Hamish French returns to the side, having missed the Pars clash.
Wright said: "We've enjoyed the luxury of a settled team for some time, so we can't complain now.
"I'm considering putting a couple of youngsters in the pool along with Hamish French."
