Stranraer manager Billy McLaren has three players missing for their CIS Cup tie against St Johnstone.
Steven Renicks and Kevin Gaughan are still injured and Michael Moore is suspended.
Despite playing against a team in the division above, McLaren is hopeful his side can progress to the next round.
He said: "Of course we always think there is a chance of doing something - we're at home and hopefully that will help us too."
St Johnstone manager Billy Stark has a full squad to choose from.
The McDiarmid Park boss knows his side are favourites to progress but he insists his side are used to being favourites in the First Division after being relegated from the SPL last season.
But he has warned his players not to be complacent against McLaren's side - who held Hibernian to a draw in the Scottish Cup last year.
He said: "They did well against Hibs at their own ground only last year and things like this help to let people know that it isn't just a case of us turning up and expecting to win the game."
