A last-gasp goal by Kevin Byers earned second-bottom Forfar a 2-1 win over top club Dumbarton.
Dumbarton paid the price for easing off the gas as Forfar battled to level the score, then to take the points.
The home side started brightly but by half-time had only a single goal to show for their efforts, with Gary McCutcheon blasting them in front in the 27th minute.
Forfar levelled just after the break through Martin Bavidge and then put the home side under pressure, with Scott McCulloch and Paul Tosh both going close.
Right on full-time Byers blasted home the winner as the home defence were caught napping.
