Stranraer strolled to victory against Brechin for the second successive week as they ran riot for a 6-1 home win in the first round of the CIS Insurance Cup.
Allan Jenkins set them on their way, hammering home Kevin Finlayson's cross in the fifth minute.
Man-of-the-match Ian Harty opened his account with a 45-yard shot in the 17th minute, firing into the empty net after goalkeeper David Hay had come out in search of the loose ball.
Harty then added Stranraer's third goal, shooting home with an angled drive as Brechin heads began to drop.
Michael Moore then got in on the act, hooking the ball high into the net through the crowded goalmouth for the fourth goal.
Harty completed his hat-trick before half-time when he bundled the ball home after Moore's initial shot had been deflected.
Justin Skinner pulled a goal back for Brechin but Lee Sharp increased Stranraer's margin of victory in the 66th minute.
