Two goals by John O'Neill sent Queen of the South into the second round of the CIS Insurance Cup as they secured a 2-0 home win over Forfar.

O'Neill's first goal came from the penalty spot after 25 minutes when he fired the ball home after Paul Shields had been brought down in the area.

He secured victory on the hour-mark with a cracking 25-yard drive which flew high into the net.
