Full-time: Berwick Rangers 0 - 2 Stranraer
Soccernet.com

Stranraer were left to rue missed chances as they could only beat Berwick 2-0, rather than by the five clear goals needed to finish above third.

The visitors were two ahead after 27 minutes.

Fraser Wright scored the first after five minutes and before the half-hour Ian Harty added another, racing on to a Dougie Johnstone pass.

With Harty, Paul Walker and Mark Weir ripping Berwick apart, Stranraer were dominant but then inexplicably eased up.

Berwick, shattered to have missed out on promotion, were a huge disappointment.

The nearest they came was when youth-team striker John Harvey had two good attempts.
