Wallace targets win over Dundee

Rangers striker Rod Wallace insists Rangers must knuckle down and concentrate on securing second spot in the Scottish Premier League so they can have another crack at the Champions League next year.

Wallace watched former club Leeds win through to the semi-finals of the Champions League this week, and sites bad luck as the reason that Rangers are not there with them.

The Gers face Dundee on Saturday in a must-win game.

"I've been more than happy to see Leeds go on and do it," said Wallace. "They've got a good young team, they've worked hard for each other and they deserve to be there.

"They've played against some big teams and they've done really well against them.

"We didn't have the right luck really to get through but hopefully things will change in the future for Rangers.

"It is a bit frustrating not to win anything. Rangers are a big club and they need to be winning at least something.

"We've done it for the last two years and it is disappointing not to have won something but we've still got our main goal and that's to finish second and qualify for the Champions League.

Lorenzo Amoruso returns from injury against the Dark Blues but Claudio Reyna is suspended.

Dundee's Barry Smith is suspended but Alessandro Romano could return to the bench.
