An amazing fightback with three goals in the last 12 minutes earned Stranraer an unlikely 3-2 away victory and plunged Forfar even deeper into relegation trouble.
The home side blew a two-goal lead but will look back on a series of missed chances which should have sealed victory.
Barry Sellars opened the scoring for Forfar after 13 minutes and Liam Keogh made it 2-0 five minutes later with a powerful header.
Forfar hit the post shortly after and paid the penalty for numerous misses when Fraser Wright launched Stranraer's comeback 12 minutes from the end.
