East Stirling denied Cowdenbeath the win they needed to move to the brink of promotion as they secured a 3-1 away victory over the Blue Brazil.
The Fife side did all the attacking but some awful defending and poor shooting, plus a touch of bad luck, left them with nothing.
East Stirling took the lead after 29 minutes through a 30-yard volley from David Wood, then eight minutes after the interval Gregor McKechnie added their second goal after hesitant defending by the home team.
With 22 minutes left, McKechnie ran unchallenged through the home defence to fire in the third East Stirling goal and although Graham Brown pulled one back six minutes from time, it was little consolation for the home side.
