Full-time: Elgin City 4 - 2 East Stirling
Soccernet.com

Elgin finally ended a run of 10 consecutive home defeats with a fine 4-2 victory over East Stirling.

David Heind opened the scoring for Elgin in the 14th minute with a tap-in from a Neil Whyte pass.

Man of the match Davie Ross made it 2-0 from the penalty spot in the 28th minute after he had been brought down by visiting keeper Jim Butter.

Gregor McKechnie pulled one back on 34 minutes but within a minute David Craig's header had restored Elgin's two-goal advantage.

A 20-yard Ross lob on 70 minutes made the game safe for City although substitute Steven Stewart managed a consolation for Shire three minutes later.
