East Stirling extended their unbeaten run at home to five matches with a narrow 1-0 victory over Peterhead.
The home team had striker Gary Higgins to thank for claiming all three points with his goal after 55 minutes proving to be the difference between the two sides.
When Steven Hislop cracked in a shot from wide on the right, Higgins was on hand to deflect the ball into the net and put East Stirling ahead.
Chances for the visitors were rare with Russell Huggon coming closest to getting them back in the game with a volley which flew side of the post.
And East Stirling could have made the scoreline more emphatic in the closing stages, but Hislop was guilty of woeful finishing when he blasted wide when faced with a one-on-one with goalkeeper Ivor Pirie.
