Full-time: Berwick Rangers 2 - 2 Queen of the South
Soccernet.com

Queen of the South came back from the dead to earn a 2-2 draw from the Border derby with Berwick Rangers at Shielfield Park.

Paul Ronald opened the scoring for Berwick after 40 minutes when he latched on to Darren Smith's deflected cross.

The home side raced into a two-goal lead when Mark Anthony converted a penalty after Andy Aitkin handled the ball in the area.

But Queen of the South stormed back with two late goals to make Berwick rue a string of missed chances.

Peter Wetherford cashed in after 72 minutes when an Innes Ritchie clearance crashed against the frame of his own goal to leave the Queen of the South man with an easy chance.

Just seven minutes before the end John O'Neill levelled the scores to ensure the points were shared.
