Ross County cruised to a 2-0 victory at home to Clyde despite early pressure from the visitors.
Pat Keogh headed over the crossbar in the seventh minute and three minutes later, Jamie Mitchell saw his shot rebound off the top of Nicky Walker's crossbar.
But despite constant pressure in the opening 20 minutes, the County defence held out.
The home side took the lead against the run of play midway through the half when a Darren Henderson cross was turned into the net by Clyde defender Andy Millen.
County then took control of the second half and substitute Derek Holmes made sure of the points when he finished off some good work by Karim Boukraa to score from eight yards in the 58th minute.
Ross could even afford the luxury of top-scorer Alex Bone missing a couple of chances before the end.
