Goals at the start and end of the match by Alex Burke secured three priceless points for Clydebank in a 2-1 win over Queen's Park.
Burke, who has returned to the Bankies after a three-month loan spell away from the club, did the damage to leave Queen's Park deep in the relegation battle.
He opened the scoring in the 13th minute and wrapped up proceedings with a cracker 90 seconds from the end.
But Clydebank had to fight for this victory after one controversial minute midway through the second half.
A long ball from midfield dropped in Clydebank's penalty area and the home side's Jamie McKinstry challenged for it with Steve Canning.
The referee saw an offence and showed McKinstry the red card for stamping and awarded Queen's Park a penalty.
Stewart Orr converted the spot-kick to equalise and it appeared the match was heading for a draw until Burke popped up late on.
The result gives Clydebank the chance to consolidate their league placing but leaves Queen's Park with much to do in the coming weeks.
