Brechin City maintained their promotion challenge with a comfortable 3-0 home victory over derby rivals Montrose.
The visitors had a couple of early chances through Andy Hutcheon and Steve Laidlaw but Brechin grabbed the lead in the 29th minute.
Blair Sturrock pounced to score after a Kevin Bain free-kick.
Brechin could have scored again a minute later when a Sturrock drive was well saved by Gary McGlynn.
The home side were on top at the start of the second half and stretched their lead after 57 minutes when Paul Kinnaird found Sturrock who turned well to score.
It was no surprise when Brechin added a third goal through Roddy Grant three minutes from time.
