Full-time: Berwick Rangers 1 - 1 Stranraer
Soccernet.com

Berwick and Stranraer can both forget about promotion after a forgettable 1-1 draw.

Stranraer, who had the edge early on and took the lead after five minutes thanks to an excellent Ian Harty goal, went off the boil.

Rangers created the better chances with Gary Wood hitting the post before Innes Ritchie converted a cross from Gordon Forrest to equalise.

From then on, the game went downhill rapidly with both teams relying far too heavily on playing long-balls upfield.

Marc Anthony and Garry Wood tested Stranraer goalkeeper Mark McGeown but defences dominated at both ends.

Anthony and Wood also incurred bookings, as did Dougie Johnstone and David Farrell for Stranraer.
