Steven Milne scored twice in three minutes for Dundee to sensationally snatch victory at Kilmarnock after being two goals down.
Christophe Cocard ensured Dundee would be chasing the game right from the outset when he netted for Kilmarnock just three minutes into the game.
Killie doubled that advantage 45 seconds after the re-start when Martin Baker grabbed his first goal for the club with a header that left goalkeeper Marco Roccati helpless.
But player-manager Ivano Bonetti brought Dundee back into the game when he netted and Milne grabbed a brace in a devastating three-minute spell to take the points.
And the result was achieved without the services of star striker Claudio Caniggia who missed out through jet-lag following a 16-hour flight from Argentina.
And the Dens Park side's luck took another turn for the worse when they found themselves a goal behind to Kilmarnock just three minutes into the game.
Paul Wright's cross found Cocard just inside the 18-year-box and the Frenchman unleashed a shot that left goalkeeper Roccati helpless.
But just two minutes later, Dundee squandered a great chance to pull level when Georgi Nemsadze fed the ball to Steven Milne but his shot was just wide.
A couple of minutes later the visiting fans were in an uproar when Young ignored a penalty claim by Dundee.
Juan Sara tumbled in the box, claiming he had been tripped by Chris Innes but the claim was waved away.
Dundee continued to push their way back into the game in a bid to level the scorelines before the break but Ivano Bonetti's side were finding it difficult to create real chances.
Their perseverance almost paid off four minutes before the break when Bonetti swung a flag kick into the box but Milne's header was just over the crossbar.
Kilmarnock started the second half in the same devastating style as they had at the beginning of the game and, within 45 seconds of the re-start, they had doubled their advantage.
A great ball from Wright found Cocard on the right hand wing.
He swung the ball into the box where it was picked up by Martin Baker and the former St Mirren player bulleted a header past Roccati to claim his first goal for Killie since signing three years ago.
But after 53 minutes, player-manager Bonetti threw a lifeline to Dundee.
His shot in front of goal looked to have been held by goalkeeper Gordon Marshall but he somehow managed to allow the ball to slide under him into the back of the net.
Kilmarnock saw their great start to the second-half crumble during an incredible three minute fightback by Dundee.
Milne burst through the middle, running clear on goal, before sliding the ball under Marshall to level the scorelines.
And, just three minutes later, Milne hit the back of the net again to give the visitors the lead and the points.
