Inverness Caley Thistle devastated Airdrie with a dazzling display of pace, precision passing and finishing power in a 4-0 win at Caledonian Stadium.

David Bagan gave an early indication of things to come when he opened the scoring from Charlie Christie's through pass in the seventh minute.

Christie extended the lead with a well-judged 15-yard lob just before the break.

Javier Broto saved a penalty kick from Paul Sheerin before David Zausa netted number three from Sheerin's defence-splitting pass (62).

Dennis Wyness completed the rout when fine play by Christie created the opportunity on 72 minutes.

Broto saved Airdrie from further embarrassment when he made a superb double save from Martin Bavage five minutes from the end.
