Albion Rovers extended their unbeaten run to eight matches with this hard fought win over East Stirling. Rovers raced into an early lead when James McLees collected a Paul Shields pass to shoot low into the corner of the net.
The visitors had the lion's share of the remaining first half play but it was not until the 45th minute that they equalised through a Steve Hislop penalty.
During the second period Rovers were much more determined but it took a second penalty, converted by Shields six minutes from the end, to give them the points.
