Full-time: Clydebank 0 - 1 Berwick Rangers
Soccernet.com

Berwick Rangers won a hard-fought but well deserved 1-0 victory over Clydebank with a stunning late strike.

The goal hero was Alan Neill, who had come up from his defensive duties when the visitors were awarded a free-kick.

Gordon Forrest played the ball into his path and he curled a magnificent effort into the net.

Clydebank were rarely in it, particularly after an early flurry that could have brought them a first-minute goal.

The clearer chances fell to the visitors and they were unlucky to see an effort come back off the post.

David Wylie in the Clydebank goal was forced into a couple of fine saves.

Even the introduction of player-boss and former Celtic star Tommy Coyne failed to retrieve the situation for the home side.
