Full-time: Stenhousemuir 1 - 2 Stranraer
Soccernet.com

Stranraer kept themselves in the promotion hunt with a 2-1 victory at Ochilview, which moved them six points clear of Stenhousemuir.

Both sides had passed up chances before the visitors broke the deadlock in the 53rd minute.

Peter Cormack slipped while attempting a pass-back and Ian Harty nipped in to round keeper Garry Gow before ushering the ball over the line.

The second arrived in the 69th minute and was another disaster for the home defence.

Paul Blair's corner from the right was badly defended and when Keith Knox squared to Paul Walker 16 yards out his low driven shot found a way through a ruck of players and into the net.

The home side gave themselves hope 11 minutes from the end when substitute David Lorimer, who had replaced Colin McKinnon two minutes earlier, picked up the ball just outside the box and passed two defenders before beating McGeown from five yards.

Steve Pittman caused some trouble for the visitors near the end with a 14-yard effort, but after a scramble the ball was cleared.
