Full-time: East Fife 1 - 2 Hamilton Academical
Soccernet.com

Hamilton edged out East Fife in a poor game with a penalty five minutes from the end giving them all three points in a 2-1 victory.

The Accies took the lead after 52 minutes when Stuart Callagan's free-kick was expertly headed home by Paul Gaughan.

East Fife levelled the match in controversial circumstances when a low cross reared up off Robert Prytz's foot and hit his hand on 56 minutes.

John Gallagher converted the kick.

A draw looked likely until Richard Gibb handled a cross ball in the box.

Callagan blasted home the winner.
