Brechin had a comfortable 4-1 win over East Stirling - getting off to a flying start with a goal after just two minutes when a Doug Coulston cross was headed home by Ben Honeyman.
Brechin remained on top in the first half, although East Stirling almost equalised after 21 minutes when Steve Hislop had a drive tipped over by Derek Soutar.
Brechin stretched their lead on 59 minutes when midfielder Jimmy Nairn worked a fine one-two with Roddy Grant and slotted the ball past the keeper.
Brechin added a third goal after 69 minutes when Blair Sturrock drove the ball across goal and Coulston scored on the back post.
East Stirling reduced the arrears after 83 minutes when Gregor McKechnie was brought down by keeper Soutar and Steve Hislop scored from the spot.
Brechin made it 4-1 in the 85th minute when Roddy Grant drove home from the edge of the box.
