Full-time: Inverness Cal. Thistle 1 - 2 Clyde
Soccernet.com

Inverness Caledonian Thistle were denied a well deserved share of the points when a low drive from Martin Bavidge rebounded off the upright in the last minute as visitors Clyde held on for a 2-1 win.

It took only 16 minutes for Thistle to go ahead as a superb 40-yard through ball from Stuart McCaffrey set up the chance for David Bagan to break the deadlock.

Minutes before the interval Denis Wyness missed a golden opportunity to extend the lead when, six yards out, he fired wide from Ross Tokely's cross.

Thistle, though, were left to rue missed chances in the second half as Steve Convery equalised from the penalty spot when Tokely tripped Mark McLauchlan in the area.

And the home side's day went from bad to worse when Stuart Golabaek was ordered off for disputing the spot-kick.

It didn't take long for Clyde to capitalise on their man advantage and within 10 minutes they were ahead as Convery scored with a thundering 25-yard effort.
