Ross County are still looking for their first Division One point after crashing to a 2-0 home defeat to free-flowing Clyde.
Adam Proudlock kept up his recent impressive scoring rate with Clyde's opener in the seventh minute.
Proudlock drifted in from the left touch-line and powered home a spectacular effort from 22 yards.
County enjoyed plenty of the play but they found the Bully Wee defence hard to break down.
The home side's best chance fell to Franc Escalon in the third minute, but the Frenchman blasted well over the bar from close range.
Alex Bone had the ball in the Clyde net in the 64th minute after Clyde keeper Bryn Halliwell spilt a Steve Ferguson drive. But the former Ayr striker was adjudged to be offside.
