Berwick Rangers chalked up their first win in the Second Division when they beat Arbroath 2-1, but they were indebted to goalkeeper Mark McLean for a superb last-minute save from a Jim Fotheringham free-kick.
After a quiet start Arbroath took the lead on 31 minutes after forcing three quick-fire corners.
George Rowe nodded down the third and Steve Mallan bundled the ball home.
A corner at the other end brought the equaliser for Berwick when Gary Woods flicked in a Paul Ronald header.
Rangers snatched the lead in the 36th minute when Martin Neil engineered an opening and cut the ball back for Marc Anthony to score.
Berwick had more second half chances to wrap it all up, but poor finishing and excellent work from keeper Craig Hinchcliffe ensured a nail-biting finish.
