Luis Enrique nears Barcelona return

BARCELONA, Feb 5 (Reuters) - Luis Enrique has returned to training with Barcelona after more than two months out with a thigh muscle injury.

The Spanish international midfielder has not played since November 20, when he suffered a recurrence of the injury early in the Catalan club's 3-1 Champions League win at Liverpool.

Barca said on their website on Tuesday they expected the player to be available for selection again in the next few days, meaning he could back for Saturday's league match at Real Mallorca.

Luis Enrique is almost certain to be named in Jose Antonio Camacho's World Cup squad, assuming he has fully recovered in time.

He is unlikely to be back in time for Spain's next World Cup warm-up match, though, against Portugal in Barcelona on February 13.
