MILAN, Nov 4 (Reuters) - Serie A club Parma will appoint a new coach on Monday, club official Salvatore Scaglia said after Sunday's 2-1 win over Perugia.
Scaglia also told the club's official website: 'I expect
that on Tuesday he will be introduced to the press and then take
his first training session.'
Renzo Ulivieri resigned as Parma coach on Wednesday and his
assistant Gedeone Carmignani has acted as caretaker coach since.
Carlo Ancelotti, who had two seasons in charge at Parma
before moving to Juventus in 1998, is widely tipped by the
Italian media to take the job.
On Thursday Ancelotti confirmed he was in talks with Parma
but media reports have also linked former Argentina coach Daniel
Passarella and another ex-Parma coach Nevio Scala with the
vacant post.
