The Frenchman proved his worth as an excellent shot-stopper with assured handling and also became known as something of a specialist penalty saver, securing wins in vital shoot-outs as Leicester grabbed the Worthington Cup glory in 2000.
Joined Liverpool on a free transfer during the summer of 2000 and was an effective back-up for Sander Westerveld during the 2000/01 season - with most of his appearances again coming in the Worthington Cup.
