Arsenal striker Dennis Bergkamp faces an FA disciplinary hearing tomorrow at which he will learn whether he is to be suspended for three matches over the Christmas period.
The Dutch star has been charged with misconduct after he allegedly stamped on Blackburn's Nils-Eric Johansson during Arsenal's 2-1 defeat at Highbury in October.
But Bergkamp insists he is innocent and is expected to appear in person at the hearing to plead his case.
It is thought likely he will argue that his momentum accidentally carried him into Johansson and that there was no intent in his challenge.
Bergkamp could be fined or handed a three-match ban if he is found guilty - and Arsenal are also waiting on disciplinary verdicts for defenders Ashley Cole and Martin Keown.
