Dillon tribute to loan star Upson

Reading assistant manager Kevin Dillon paid tribute to loan signing Matthew Upson who completed his spell with the club following the goalless draw against Portsmouth.

Upson came to the Royals on a three-month loan spell to regain fitness after a broken leg and knee operation.

Dillon said: ``Matthew is the best loan signing Reading has ever made but I am confident that John Mackie can step back into his place in the side.''
