Brazil's World Cup-winning coach Luis Felipe Scolari has been invited to visit Premiership champions Arsenal's state of the art training headquarters in Hertfordshire.
Scolari - known as 'Big Phil' - is likely to exchange ideas with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger and his coaching staff.
But Arsenal have played down talk that Scolari could be joining the club in a consultancy role.
A spokesman said: 'This is speculation, and we never comment on that.'
The rumours began after Scolari was reported to have said: 'Arsene Wenger has invited me personally in an official capacity and I am very honoured. I think this role will be very productive for both parties.'
He is believed to have plans to visit clubs in Spain later this month.
