Ternent rues 'shambolic' defending

Burnley boss Stan Ternent was a relieved man after seeing his side grab a late FA Cup equaliser in a 2-2 draw with Third Division Scunthorpe at Turf Moor.

He said: "We are in the hat - for long periods it didn't look likely.

"We have been playing with little confidence and with fear. Hopefully we have turned the corner.

"It was shambolic defending for the goals. At times like this I wish I was a joiner!"
