LONDON, April 4 (Reuters) - Valencia forward Juan Sanchez said his side were disappointed to come away from the away leg of their Champions League quarter-final against Arsenal with a 2-1 defeat after dominating the first half.
But the Spanish striker remains confident about making it through to the semifinals with a second leg at Mestalla still to come.
'Maybe we're left with a bad taste in our mouths to lose after going ahead in the first half,' said Sanchez, whose side led through a Pablo Aimar strike before two goals in two minutes from Thierry Henry and Ray Parlour turned the game around.
'This could turn out to be a good result, though.
'We controlled the first half but they came back well. We'll keep working, though, and in the second leg we'll be able to move the ball around more on our bigger pitch.
'With the help of our own crowd let's see what the second leg holds.'
Fabian Ayala, who was booked and now misses the second leg, added: 'With the support of our fans we can win through to the last four.
'It will be difficult but not impossible. Arsenal are a tough team to play against.'
